I saw this note on my cousin, Nicki's post. And I think its true and interesting.

U cant determine the length of ur life, but u can control the width.
U cant dominate the weather, but u can adjust ur mood.
U cant predict tomorrow, but u can make full use of today.
U cant win everything, but u can do ur best on everything u do..

The only constant thing in life is...

"Remember this dear, the only constant thing in life is changes....." a close friend told me this today.

Oh well... that means nothing is constant in life, innit?

I guess I can agree with him, and I want to make changes in my life.

I just need to move on and make changes that will make better impact in my life. Hopefully.

Time to change and move on..... and be constantly adaptable to changes that will make our life better......

But then again, if people changes too fast., can we accept that?
Do we prefer people don't change..?
Can we accept changes of people that are close to us?
How do we handle that?

I guess the statement can be contradicting too ya....?

Who changes more frequent? Woman or Man?

Ya... am just mumbling away..., not sure what am talking now.....

Non-Exclusive...

What does non-exclusive entails in a relationship?

Or, it shouldn't even been referred to as relationship... because relationship is always associated with commitment, right?

I am not sure if I am ready for non-exclusive dating scene.... or even to begin it.

When you are in a non-exclusive "relationship"..., does it means two-way? Both parties should be following the rules of non-exclusive?

What are non-exclusive dating or relationship's criteria or rules? Is there any guideline to follow?

Well, of coz I hope to have an exclusive relationship.... but for now, I think I am not ready for it yet and I don't want to rush into anything.

I am getting used to be single, and am afraid that I won't be easily adaptable to be in a relationship that expects commitment amongst a lot of other things.

I want to explore the possibility of seeing people non-exclusively.... but I am not sure if I am ready for that.... or what should I be expecting if I am exploring this option?

Interactive or Non-Interactive???

Well, I uses this terms a lot in my line of work.....

But today, a potential client whom called in, gave me a lecture on the different terminology of these "words".......

I had to listen to him for TEN minutes, just because I asked him if he wants "interactive or non-interactive" system.....

I almost want to snap.... but held back. And told him nicely... "well, its just a different terminology then..... so, what can I help you??"

I was like....... is he a school teacher or what???

My terms for "Interactive" is two-way communication, while "Non-Interactive" is one-way communication.

But his terms is.... "Interactive" is a full solution (software + hardware) while "Non-Interactive" is ONLY HARDWARE.........

Oh well...... so, what is your terminology for Interactive & Non-Interactive then?

Chasing Harry Winston..

I just finished reading this novel, and I think I can relates to one of the character in the book...

In summary, this book talks about women reaching their big 30...

Yes, this year, am going to celebrates my big 30 too.

I used to have all these plans in my brain that I will be married by the time I reaches 30,... and have a successful career, and probably even with a kid.....

Of course, things changes over the years..... and suddenly, I just realized that I am so near the big 30...

It freaks me out a bit initially.., but now... I don't really care. Well, not totally don't care, but I had "re-adjusted" my focus, and accepted that it doesn't really matter.

I probably already had the responsibility of a 30 years old, years ago.....
And, I am happy that I don't really look 30......

But anyway.... in this book, one of the character said this (not words for words... but something in that context)...

"do we rush into something because of the surrounding? just because we are 30? or even 32? If we were 25, probably we will be enjoying years-long relationship before deciding if we want to bring it to the next level..... so, are we doing this because of age? are we just getting married now because of peer pressure? because everyone else is doing it, and you just feel that its right to do it....?"

Well, I guess, most of us, whom are still not married when we hit 30... it seemed to send ALARM out. Especially ladies.... Why? Because before 30 is ideal age to get married?

I don't know..... I used to put a dateline to a lot of things in life..... "by 30...."

For now, I think I will just take things as it goes...... and handle it more maturely..... rather then rushing into it... just because I am reaching 30.

Girlfriends, go and read the book..... its just merely reminding us on ourselves. Some part of it, not all.....
