Virgin Underwater Photography

Equipped with my Olympus ZX-1 and its Underwater casing..., I started my journey of capturing what I always sees while diving.... I always itch to get one.., but been dragging and considering..., because my buoyancy is not that good yet. By buying it also doesn't mean that my buoyancy is any better.., but oh well, I just wanted to capture what I sees and share with my nephews especially.

Here, some of it..... for almost-full-album, please go to my FB and view it...

Cherry Blossom in KL?

If you are out and about this few days, be alert to your surrounding... Be aware of the nice flowers that are blossoming all around KL + S'gor...

Its so pretty.., but I think it will last a few days only.., just like Sakura.

I saw more that are soooo beautiful along the road., but I was driving, so didn't manage to capture it.

Enjoy it my friends...

Eyes + Mind Opening Trip

I just came back from Phuket, with my team. This trip is really eyes + mind opening for most of them. Of course not me.., but for most of my team members, especially the Muslims.

Why... well, brought them to watch a Cabaret Show by Pondan and then guess what...., also brought them to watch "Tiger-Show" or more popular known as Ping Pong show....

You will be "amazed" or probably, more of shocked on what they can do with their p***y... and things that they can hide inside and pull it out.....

I witnessed a TOAD came out from one of the girls.., and actually.., this are more like a "tiger show combined with porn show"....

They even had sex on the stage! I didn't expect that...

But anyway.., my muslims colleagues walked out after 5-mins....

They were shocked when the guy walked out with his d**k standing so high.... LOL.

Of course..., we went and watch other show too..... went to Fantasea and also went and watch Cobra show....

Anyway, it was a good trip.... a good short getaway.

Underwater Camera

Finally I succumbed to it..... to underwater photo-shooting....

Why? Well, every time I dived, I kept thinking how nice it would be if I can capture the photos of the fishes and share it with J and also my nephews.....

Although I tried to rationalized and try to talk myself out of getting "involved" in the underwater photography...., I guess my inner-strength not as strong.... and I finally succumbed to it last weekend!

I finally decided and had bought a camera with underwater casing! Well, I sort of did a "barter-trade" with my younger brother. He bought me this camera and I passed him my semi-dslr camera that I bought not too long ago.....

Well, why I didn't just get an underwater casing for my semi-dslr then...? Because its way too expensive!

So, the new camera I bought is Olympus XZ-1 and the underwater casing by Olympus too....

Here how the underwater-casing look like.....

And it comes in my favorite color.... how can I resist, right?

 My naughty nephews posing....
THE CAMERA!

Golden Pillow...

Well, at least this was what I known it as when I first "encountered" it.

The first time I tried was in Singapore. And its called "golden pillow".

And, today, a friend brought this for me, from Port Dickson.

Well, what is it.... Its actually curry chicken wrapped around with nice soft bread.

Verdict : Not bad but make sure you have more people to share with because portion is big.

Muay-Thai Me!

Well, I did kickboxing for a while.., then yoga... And now I found a place that's near office & home, that offers muaythai among other. They have TRX, MMA, KravManga and Yoga too.

I signed up about more than a month ago.., and was very "good" the first two weeks..., then the lazy-me kicks in...

And now., am back to the Class again. Let's hope I keep it up; and hopefully the idea of more fit & toned body is motivating....

Gated comunity?

Have our country the level of not safe that we need to gate up our housing area?
And, how safe are we with this so called gated-community?

And how much do you think its fair to pay, to get your housing area gated?

My housing area, there are only 80-houses.., a very small community. And its a very new place., with about only 50% occuponcy to-date. Though I think, in a few months time, it should be filled to about 80%.

Recently, the community decides that we should gate the area up..., and that will cost each house RM150 / month. Honestly, I think its too steep. And of course, I told them that I think its too steep.., and they say it should be lowered once we have more people in....

My honest opinion, I am not sure if with guards around, does it do good or other way...?

And our housing estate is at the end; where unless you stays there or visiting, you should not have reason to come in.

But since most residents agree to it..., we just agree along too then. Let's hope its really for the better.

Live On Board..

I been LOB once.., and this was my second time.

This particular LOB is great.... great companion and also great food!

What else can you ask for : Great Companion + Great Dive + Great Food!
I did my first night dive during this trip too.

I didn't bring camera this time.., hence no photos to share but only one that a friend took of me.

My new TOYS

After been diving for a while..., I finally decided to get my own gears.

Hence, right before my diving trip for Live On Board, I went shopping with a friend whom can get me good discount and also with J.

Of course, J was not very happy that I spent so much..., but oh well, I rationalized it with him by comparing to his fishing-gears.

His defense : his fishing gears are more utilized than my diving gears.....
My defense : then I go diving more often......

Here what I bought.....

My BCD with Dive Suit at the back. I chose this BCD because its light weight and not as cumbersone as typical BCD.

Regulator made from Japan., comes with charcoal and water filter.
Charcoal supposed to help filter contaminated air while the water supposed to help  the  dampen the compressed air.

My super big Dive Comp and Dive Knife. I wanted an idiot proof dive comp, that's why I chose this, because its only 1-button..; hence, how difficult can it be, right? As for Knife.., J chose and insist that I should have it.
Both are gift from J.

And, I had used all of these (except for the knife) during my LOB dive a week after... will blog about it next.

Three a Crowd.....

As most of you know, I always host a interns from Netherlands. I been doing this for almost more than five years now.

And, most of the time, each placement have only either one or two interns.

But the latest batch, I decided to take in three, because one needed a place but nobody is taking in... So decided to help.

And it proved to be disaster. Two of them gang up against another one.... And one of them are total hypocrite. If most of you whom knows me, you know how much I hate hypocrite!

I find it so annoying.... but I decided to just let go and don't want to get involved with the problematic one..... So, I leave it to J to handle.

So, I need to remind myself, never take three at one time anymore.... but meanwhile, we might decide to take a break and not host any for a while.

Unless a good one come along.

Goodbye my dearest apartment...

It was not easy to say goodbye to a place I called home for almost 8-years.

I laughed and cried in this place for countless time...

I shared so many gatherings and dinners with family and friends here....

I "grown-up" with this home too. Lots of ups and downs....

It was my lil paradise...

Hence.., it felt so weird to pass the keys to another person. I even told the person to take care of the place.... Told her that its a very nice place...

Oh well.., I guess I got to move on and love my new home now. A home that belongs to both me & J.

I hope this new home brings me more laughter and joy...

Here, few photos of my lil old apartment to share....

Day 10 : Renovation

Our house coming to shape....
Happy with was done so far.

The toilet almost done...
The sliding door at master bedroom installed...
The "12ft x 11ft" wardrobe installed...
The kitchen cabinets installed.., minus its granite's top.

After work.., we went and sit at the balcony.., while waiting for the contractors to finish their work..
The feeling was so nice. Satisfied and happy and felt blessed.

A good day indeed.

Day 7 & 8 : Renovation

The toilet start taking shape., hence we went and buy boxes of tiles.

It was not an easy task. There were lots of options., and us having different ideas doesn't help too. After few trips to the SAME tiles shop, we finally decided and bought a total of 16 boxes of tiles!

And today, they finally hacked the master bedroom.., prepping it for sliding door installation.

Let's hope they install the sliding door soon. Else we have a super big hole at the home.

Day 6 : Renovation

The auto gate came with the house, and got the contractor to install it today.

But I don't really feel safe with it though.

Hmmmmm.......

Bicycle-Toilet

But its nice, right? :)

The view I will miss.....
Especially the breeze.....

Day 2 : Renovation

Renovation officially starts today.
Door being whacked down and all work starting.... They had even placed the aircond's pipe!
And guess what.., its second day and budget had been BURST..!!!
Decided to do sliding door for master bedroom, which cost many more monies.....
Had finally decided on the kitchen cabinets contractor too.
So, more a less everything had finalized. Pheew.....

Day 1 : Renovation (still planning...)

The shocked I got when I went to check before passing the key to Contractor.
The tampered glass in the toilet shattered!
WTF! How could this even happened....???? Imagine it shattered when one of us was showering????
And guess what... I called the guy in charge of defects rectification.., and apparently, ours is the 4th house that had this issue!
And yet they doing nothing about it????? Isn't it consider hazard???
Anyway, on brighter side.., luckily this happened BEFORE I start my renovation. Else., they sure blame us!

Day - 1 : Renovation Planning

In two more days and the renovation shall be officially starting.... Keeping fingers crossed that all shall goes as planned.

Last week had been crazy.., especially the last few days.

We had met at least 4 kitchen contractors.... 2 wet-works contractors.... 1 grill contractors....

And don't ask me how many electrical shops had we visited...... I am tired even before the renovation starts.

And... me & J had lots of "discussion" sessions..... on what to do and agree on it.... and how much to budget for the renovation.....

I dare not look into the amount we needed to spend before we can move in...... I can now totally understand when CY told me that she felt so poor after buying + renovating her house....

Though I have J to share the burden with.... I still feel SO POOR!

I guess, what need to be renovated..., need to be done... so, might as well enjoy the moment.., by that, I mean, enjoy the craziness...

CSR

Today, I joined one of my business partner's company's CSR effort. They do this on yearly basis, normally towards CNY.

This is my second time joining them. We went to this orphanage, which houses some old people too.... There are total of about 60++ ppl in the house, including the caretakers. Am not sure who funded this home though. Its in Jinjang.., far deep.

Anyway, I went with J. And we helped out with the rest of team. There are total of about 20++ of us.

I am fine in helping out and doing all these work. But from my observation, these kids, they are given a roof over their top, but nobody teach or guide them about survival.

For instance, they are not taught of how to keep the place or the environment clean. The place was in such a mess when we went. Toilets were dirty, house were dirty etc.....

And, when we were helping them to clean and fix things, all the kids just sit there and play and watch.

They are used to people come and help them clean up and fix things. And, everyone that comes, just help do that. Nobody taught them how to fix the stuffs, how to clean it, and most importantly, how to take care of themselves and the home.

I don't know... I don't mind to help them, but.., I want them to learn.., and I want them to be part of the "gotong-royong" effort...

Just imagine... Your mum come and help you clean your house, but you just sit around doing nothing and let her clean... Acceptable? No?

I don't know... Probably just me. But I do voice out to my business partner.., and told him that next time, we should include the kids into the cleaning up etc instead of us just coming over and do the work like this... And he agrees.

What do you think?
