Shape Run 2010 @ Singapore

Shape Run in Singapore attracts at least 10,000 runners every year, without fail.

And, being typical Singaporean, the slots are all SNAPPED up within few days of Registration.

Yeah, no joke. And guess what, this Run is only open for WOMEN!

So imagine, more than 10,000 women gathered together?

Ya.., but this is not possible in Malaysia. I doubt we can ever able to attracts that many women to join a run. Probably that's why, Shape Run in Malaysia is held with Men's Health Run.

So, how come I managed to register? Well, because my sister was being KIASU too.

She registered for both herself and me, on the 1st day of Registration. Ya, imagine that. FIRST DAY!

I was trying to motivate myself to train for it. Well, I did train. I lasted 2-days.

I ran for about 20-mins at the "mini-park" below my apartment. I was so positive that I can keep it up till THE DAY. But oh well, laziness crept in..... so, I ended up un-fit.

So, instead of RUN, I ended up walking & chatting with EJ throughout the whole 5-KM.

My Lucky Number for the Run. Nah, they don't do lucky draw...

High-tech way to "tag" all of the runner. RFID-tag oh... Don't play play..

Our shoes tied with the RFID-Tag. Why is it so? So that we have "prove" that we ran, and also so that they can tell us our timing.
Finishing Time Stamp. Well, we just walked & chit-chat, that's why we took more than 50-mins to complete.

Coffee-Crazy

I am coffee-addict, if you don't already know. I drinks at least 2 cups of Nescafe Ice every day, and sometimes, up to 4 cups.

And, I can sleep like a pig, right after a cup of coffee.

So, am I qualified as Coffee-Addict? Beyond cure?

To add to it, my coffee cup slipped from my hand few mornings ago, and I spilled it ALL-OVER-MYSELF and my dining table. What a way to start the day huh.....

Poor J needed to help me clean it up, because I was totally soaked with coffee, that I needed a shower-immediately. Imagine!

Above all, I still loves my coffee, and make second cup after my shower...

"Don't drop the cup again!" yell J from the toilet.

:)

Nice photo taken by my younger bro.... happens to be another coffee-addict.

My new baby...

Toyota Rav4 is the name of my new baby. Got it for almost two months now, but didn't have time to blog about it.

My bro came back and needed a car. So I offered him to take over my car and I go car hunting.

I went "car-shopping" for  while, test-drive almost 10 different cards. I got tired of test-drive that I almost wanna tell my brother to find his own car.

Then I went to Naza to just look around....., and there it is! My new baby... its almost Love @ First Sight.

It took me a while to consider, because its over my budget.., and J was not keen about me spending so much for a car.

Oh well, different story after I took the car. Or should I call it a truck? He is so much more in love with it, and checked everything about the truck. Did so much research etc etc etc....

AND, he pump it up to 200 km/hr on our ride back from Johor to KL.....

Here, peep of my new baby...... 4-years OLD, imported from Japan BUT trust me, its going strong and have features of a new baby...... Me loving it soooo muchie......

My baby when I spotted it at the showroom....

Hilly Highlands of Chiang Mai

I just came back from Chiang Mai about two weeks ago. Went there with my team, for our Company's trip.

Let's the photos speaks for itself over here...

Our first stop was to this place called Royal Flora Garden. I was told they spent about hundreds of millions thai bath to do up the place, honoring their King on his 60th Years as King...
Here we are, Cam-whoring in front of the million-thai-bath temple.

Stayed in 5-star Hotel... Nice... Ratilana Spa Resort by MaePing's River

We @ Karen Hill Tribe, a place where the "Long-Neck-Orang-Asli" lives.

We climbed up the 306-staircases, to go to the Temple, and we survived!

Life-Shocking to all of us, someone whom with no-religious written on his MYKAD, was PRAYING. Well, I guess as we grows old, we do need to believes in something bigger than us, don't we?

Rub and rub, and hope more monies will be filled into my pockets...

It was a great team. Ties-renewed and everyone felt refreshed and had great time. That's all that matters. Team work does wonders! They make things happens.
