Nepal, here we come

Ya, its too early to say that. But yes, I am planning to trek Nepal, together with a few friends, this coming October.

Do hope that we can actually make it. Currently, its still very early stage of planning.

Lots of research need to be done.

At least, I had bought the Lonely Planet to Nepal... and had browsed through a bit.

And, had also done some research on how many days will be needed, and estimated budget.

Will come back more once all these details are firmed up.

Highlights of 2009

I would say 2009 been a very balanced life for me.
I spent almost equal time in work and personal. Spent quality times with friends and also family.
Here, some of the highlights of 2009...

1 - Get-Together of Old Friends @ Bali
We have this supposed "Bachelor-Night" for a friend, whom we had attended his wedding few days earlier.... So, am not sure why we still celebrate his "Stag-Night" for him.

Of coz, that was just an excuse, for all friends to come together and get away for few days. I am happy to see that all friends from hometown, were able to take time-off to spent it together.

Well, I was not part of the "gang" during school-days, but today, we are pretty close. And, I am really glad that we kept in touch... because, good friends are tough to find.

And all 10 of us, HIKE the Mt Batur! Yeah, it was a great achievement for ALL!

2 - "Unique" Interns from Holland
These two interns in particular, are different from my other interns.
Well, they are Dutch, but not by ORIGIN. So, they are not Orang Putih. I would consider them as "asian" actually.
Saleh is Iranian by Origin, and Rishna is from Surinam, but oh well, by origin is Indian.

They are crazy and nice at the same time. And, I would say that we had actually became friends.
We done lots of things together, in the short-5-months they were here.

3 - INKED
Yup, I got my 1st tattoo! To mark my 30th years in this world.

And, I actually thinking of "expanding" it a bit this year... but not sure yet. Will see.

4 - Small Bro away in New Zealand
It makes me realize how much I missed him. :)

5 - Company's trip to Langkawi
Well, the planning was last min, so we end up with not-so-nice accommodation, but overall, things was great and fun!

6 - PADI-Certified!
After years of "delaying" my quench for dives, I finally is PADI-Certifiend and had done 2 trips of Fun Dives so far.

7 - Celebrating 30!
I joined the Club-30 last year. No more denial! Friends and family celebrated with me... and it was great!

Happy New Year to ALL

Welcome 2010! (Ooops, I am 9-days late).

I was supposed to write about "Goodbye 2009"... but guess buzziness combined with lazziness kept me from writing.

I am happy that I fulfilled almost everything that I wanted to do for 2009, and did more than what I set out for in some area....

Life had been in a very fast pace for me in 2009. Especially towards the last-Q of the year.
Too many things to be done, with too little time left for 2009.

Anyway, no point to harp on it now.... Move on.. its 2010 now.

So, lets see what I had planned for 2010 so far.

1 - NEPAL
Yes, myself and another two girlfriends had started planning for our trip to Nepal. I want to do it before my knees get weak.... (though as much as I want to live in denial... I know that as we age, our "machine" aged too...)

2 - GET FIT!
I think I had put on weight, and fitness level DROPPED tremendously! So, part of preparing for the Nepal's trip, I shall START WORKOUT. Need to start physically, rather than just keep thinking about it in my mind.... (I had been trying to start it since Jan 1.... but oh-well.... here I am, still haven't get started). Well, at least I had planned for a hike with CY & Jon tomorrow morning (provided if it doesn't rain). And, we had even plan for another hike when EJ is back in two-weeks time..... Stay positive. I should be able to make this happen!

3 - Strengthen the Business
I am lucky and been very blessed in 2009. I had managed to achieve my target (though with lots of hard-work) but its all worth while....
So, for this year, I want to make sure I achieve what I set out for myself too.

Good Luck to all for this year, and may all your targets and plans come true.
