Man and Wife - Tony Parsons

I just finished reading this book. When a friend saw the cover, he asked me..."What Star-Trek book are you reading....???"

Well, guess the image used are not appropriate to the content.... but who cares... the book is easy to read and good.

These are few phases / sentences from the book that I like / find it meaningful...

"When you're young, you say - I love you because I need you. When you're old its - I need you because I love you"

"If you're capable of loving someone, then there's never total freedom. There can't be. You give it up. You give up your freedom. For something that's better."

And this one is funny.....

"Women change. What you have to understand is that at differnt times in her life, a woman is like the world"
- From thirteen to eighteen, she's like Africa - virgin territory.
- From eighteen to thirty, she's like Asia - hot and exotic
- From thirty to forty-five, she's like America - fully explored but generous with her resources.
- From forty-five to fifty-five, she's like Europe - a bit exhausted, a bit knackered, but still with many places of interest.
- And from fifty-five onwards, she's like Australia - everybody knows it's down there somewhere, but very few will make an effort to find it.

Now, time for me to move on into another book......
